Upwards of forty tractors hit the highways and county roads of Graves County on Saturday for the annual "Dan Dan the Farmall Man" charity tractor parade.

The caravan of mostly vintage machines took to the road from Mayfield at the old Ford Richardson building toward Farmington.

After stopping for lunch, the tractors made their way through Sedalia and back to their starting point.

The money raised helps fund the Graves County Sheriff's Shop with a Deputy program that provides Christmas gifts for deserving children. There were also auction items to help raise funds for trade school scholarships and the Danny Flood Scholarship.

Mayfield's American Legion post also presented a $500 donation.

Organizers thank the county Rescue Squad and local volunteer Fire Departments for support, including traffic control from the members of Mayfield/Graves County Fire and Rescue and the Sedalia Fire Department.

The annual event is sponsored by Independence Bank.
