Driver tries to elude police, crashes vehicle into Fulton bank

A driver attempting to elude police crashed into a bank building in Fulton on Saturday.

At 4:45 p.m, the South Fulton (TN) Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a wanted subject. The driver failed to yield and fled across the state line into Fulton, Kentucky, where the vehicle crashed into First Financial Bank on Lake Street.

The driver fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance away by South Fulton police.

No injuries to the public or officers were reported.
