A driver suffering a medical emergency led to his vehicle going airborne and striking a Reidland home on Friday.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Benton Road and Grogan Circle around 11:13 a.m.

They determined that a Calvert City man was driving on Benton Road when he experienced a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle.

Deputies said the vehicle traveled through several parking lots, became airborne when crossing Grogan Circle and crashed into a nearby home.

The driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Deputies said no one else was injured.
