Driving without headlights tips police, Cadiz woman arrested for drugs

A Cadiz woman was arrested for drug possession on Tuesday after a traffic stop.

The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office said that a deputy spotted a vehicle driving along US 62 Tuesday evening without headlights or taillights. During the stop, the deputy said the driver, 55-year-old Michelle Gilliam of Cadiz, was allegedly under the influence. A search of the vehicle reportedly located marijuana.

Gilliam was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and marijuana possession.
