Fancy Farm woman sent to hospital after Mayfield rollover crash

A Fancy Farm woman was sent to the hospital after a three-car collision in Mayfield on Thursday.

Mayfield Police Department responded to the collision in the 1200 Block of West Broadway where a vehicle operated by 74-year-old Joyce Hayden was turned over onto its passenger side with severe damage. Hayden had to be extricated from the vehicle by Mayfield-Graves Fire/EMS, and was transported to Western Baptist Hospital. 

Police determined that Hayden's vehicle had crossed into the oncoming lane, where 66-year-old Oscar Reeves of Mayfield tried to avoid the collision, but Hayden collided with the trailer Reeves was pulling. Hayden's vehicle then flipped over onto its side. 

A vehicle operated by 52-year-old Kelly Brown of Mayfield was struck by the rear bumper of Reeves' vehicle which had come detached during the collision. 

No one else reported any injuries from the accident.
