Finally some breaks in the heat this week

After one more day of extreme heat today, two frontal systems make an approach and passage that brings change for our new week of weather. 

The National Weather Service office in Paducah calls for one more high near 100 today, then the first system brings a slight risk of severe storms later today into tonight, while drawing in a little cooler and drier air to begin the work week. 

A chance for morning showers on Monday will clear with a seasonal high of 91.

The second system makes mid week passage, leading to a nice cooldown with lower humidity to finish out the work week with highs in the 80s on Thursday and Friday.
