First responders from Marshall County have paused their search after a report of a jumper into Kentucky Lake.

The Marshall County Rescue Squad, along with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Marshall County EMS, Fairdealing Olive Fire, East Marshall Fire, South Marshall Fire, and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, searched near a bridge in the area of Jonathan Creek. Reports suggested that a person jumped off that bridge into Kentucky Lake.

Lake conditions proved difficult, and the search was paused on Wednesday night. Fish and Wildlife officers planned to resume the search on Thursday.
