Flood advisory along Ohio River until 1:15

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory until 1:15 p.m. today for several western Kentucky counties along the Ohio River.

A line of slow-moving storms runs from Wickliffe to Sturgis, and also includes portions of Massac and Pope counties in southern Illinois. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since early this morning.

Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. This  will cause urban and small stream flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
