Founder of Renshaw Automotive Group, who owns Royal Oaks, passes

The founder and owner of the Renshaw Automotive Group has passed away.

Danny Renshaw, a native of Madisonville, passed away Saturday at age 78, following a brief illiness.  Renshaw owned four dealerships which included Royal Oaks in Paducah, Patriot Chevrolet in Hopkinsville, Toyota of Hopkinsvile and Greenwood Ford in Bowling Green.

He was described by friends and colleagues as an icon in the automotive industry but whose kindness left an imprint.  

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Danny & Vickie Renshaw Foundation through the Community Foundation of Southern Kentucky, PO Box 737, Bowling Green, KY 42102.
