Gas prices in the region climb again

Gas prices are on the rise again in the region.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report indicates prices in West Central Kentucky are up 12 cents this week to an overall average of $3.61 per gallon, up from $3.49 last week.

Paducah's average price this week is lower than the regional average at $3.57 per gallon while the national average increased 13 cents to $4 per gallon thanks to the uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz.

It was also noted Kentucky's national average was the tenth lowest average in the nation at $3.66 per gallon.
