Gas prices remain on the decline in the region

For the second consecutive week, gas prices have dropped in the region.

Triple A's East Central Gas Report out Monday found that prices are 17 cents lower than a week ago.  The average price this week stands at $3.47 per gallon.

Paducah's average price this week is at $3.54 per gallon, seven cents higher than the region average.

Nationally, the price for gas stands at $4 per gallon.  It was noted 28 states across the nation, including Kentucky are below the $4 mark.  As a matter of fact, Kentucky's $3.57 average is the sixth least expensive in the nation.
