Groundbreaking in December for new Graves County courthouse

Groundbreaking will be held next month for a new courthouse in Graves County.

The Graves County Judge Executive's office said the event will be held December 11th at 2:30 p.m. at the site of the previous courthouse that was destroyed in the 2021 tornado.

During the event, those that lost their lives during the tornado will be honored.  

Details of the new Graves County Administrative Building will be discussed, and a rendering will be unveiled.

Graves County resident Susan Scott Higdon will emcee the event.
