Human remains discovered near home of missing Aurora woman

Human remains have been discovered under the home of a woman reported missing back in June.

The remains were recovered on Monday afternoon under a home near the Aurora One Stop and the Los Amigos Restaurant just off US 68 across from Beal Road. The Marshall County Coroner’s Office confirmed to West Kentucky Star that the unidentified remains were recovered under the home of the missing woman. Those remains will undergo an autopsy on Tuesday.

Coroner Kenny Pratt said that investigators are awaiting results from DNA and other testing to make a positive identification.

Back on June 28th, 53-year-old Kathryn B. Pipitone was reported missing, having last been seen in that area.
