I-24 back open after multi-vehicle crash at Ohio River bridge

A multi-vehicle crash blocked traffic for a few hours on Monday afternoon at the I-24 Ohio River bridge.

The westbound crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. One witness told West Kentucky Star that it involved at least 3 vehicles. Traffic was backed up at times to near Hinkleville Road, exit 4, near Kentucky Oaks Mall.

Traffic began moving again just before 2 p.m., but took some time to get back to normal.
