Information sought about theft of copper wire from Mayfield construction site

Graves County deputies are seeking the identity of the person or persons involved in a large amount of copper being stolen from a Mayfield construction site.

The theft occurred in the early morning hours on Monday. Surveillance video captured images of an older model Ford Escape pulling a single-axle utility trailer into the construction site just off US 45 north of Mayfield.

Deputies said eleven thousand feet of copper wire was stolen, valued at more than $18,000 ..

Anyone with information about the suspect or suspects in the theft is asked to contact the Graves County Sheriff's Office.
