John Puryear Drive crash claims Paducah man

A crash on John Puryear Drive claimed the life of a Paducah man.

The crash happened around Noon on Friday. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the single-vehicle crash near Estes Lane and located a pickup truck off the roadway. Their investigation determined that the northbound truck, driven by 82-year-old Frank Colapinto, ran off the shoulder of the road and struck a tree.

Colapinto was taken from the scene to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
