Kuttawa man charged in Lyon County burglary

A Kuttawa man has been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary of a home in Lyon County.

The burglary occurred at a home along KY 810 South last Monday. The suspect, 35-year-old Travis Humphrey of Kuttawa, is alleged to have gone into a garage on the property and taken an ATV. He is also said to have taken items he thought would be able to help authorities identify him.

Humphrey reportedly took the stolen ATV and sold it for cash to someone in Suwanee. The ATV was recovered later last week by deputies in the Bar-X mobile home park.

Humphrey was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, tampering with physical evidence, and burglary. He was booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
