Ledbetter man arrested on child pornography charges

Paducah Police Department detectives arrested a Ledbetter man on child pornography charges on Thursday.

Officers said they received a digital tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

During investigation, detectives determined that 39-yer old William Porter was in possession of pornographic images depicting two underage children engaged in sexual acts.

Using the Flock Safety camera system, detectives located Porter on Washington Street. He was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the McCracken County Jail. 

Police said more charges are expected.
