The strongest chances for severe weather have come and gone for Friday and Saturday, but some occasional storms are still possible that could become severe tonight, Sunday night, and on Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service says there's a marginal (level 1 out of 5) risk for tonight through 3 a.m. for most of our area
On Sunday night from 7 til midnight, the area of concern is generally west of the Ohio River. That would be all of southern Illinois and the westernmost counties of Kentucky bordering the Mississippi.
On Monday afternoon, the area of concern shifts to east of the Ohio River, which is basically all of western Kentucky from noon til 6 p.m.,
For all three periods, the concerns if storms develop will be for the possibility of gusty winds and small hail.
