Lyon County juvenile charged in obscene photo case

A Lyon County juvenile has been charged in a case involving obscene photos.

Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies were notified that a juvenile was allegedly taking photos of a sexual nature and uploading them to the internet through a second person’s device. The school resource officer investigated and detained the individual. The youth was charged with distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 18.

A district court judge authorized the release of the juvenile to the custody of a parent or guardian.
