According to WKDZ, Cadiz Police reported a horse and buggy was crossing US 68 at North Montgomery Road when it collided with a westbound vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The horse was also injured in the crash and was taken by its owner for treatment.
