Princeton man charged with unlawful imprisonment

A Princeton man faces charges of unlawful imprisonment after police responded to a domestic call on Thursday.

Princeton Police responded to South Seminary Street after neighbors called about a woman screaming for help.

The victim woman told officers that her husband, 57-year-old Dwayne Hale, held a knife to her neck as he tried to stop her from leaving the home.

Police said Hale was not home when officers arrived, but he was located a few hours later.

Hale was charged with unlawful imprisonment, terroristic threatening, and menacing. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
