Mayfield man arrested after stabbing incident

A Mayfield man was arrested following an incident involving a stabbing on Wednesday night.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said they were called to the parking lot of a business on US 45 about two miles north of Mayfield. 

When they arrived, the found a man with what appeared to be a minor stab wound. The victim declined medical treatment at the scene. It was reported that the suspect fled in a silver vehicle.

During the investigation, it was learned the suspect identified as 31-year-old Hober Vasquez Orosco lived on Backusburg Road. Investigators went to the residence where Vasquez Orsoco admitted to his involvement in the incident.

He was charged with assault and wanton endangerment and taken to an out-of-county detendion facility.
