Mayfield man charged in reported sexual assault at laundromat

Mayfield Police arrested a man after a reported sexual assault at a laundromat on Friday night.

When police arrived, the victim said she did not know the suspect, and said that the attacker was armed with a knife.

Detectives and officers gathered video camera footage and other evidence. They identified the suspect as 23-year-old Deven Noonan.

Police located Noonan at his apartment in Mayfield, where he was taken into custody. More evidence was found while searching the residence. 

Noonan was charged with rape, sodomy and kidnapping.
