Mayfield man out on bond arrested again on drug charges

A Mayfield man who was out of jail on bond was arrested again Thursday morning, facing more drug charges following a search of his apartment.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said deputies searched the suspects apartment on North 2nd Street at about 4am.

The resident, 63-year-old Leonard D. Starks, was found in the apartment. Deputies said they also found multiple methamphetamine residue contained syringes, methamphetamine, marijuana, smoking pipes, and other related items.

Starks was currently out of jail on bond on pending charges of possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping, criminal mischief to rental property and other charges.

Starks was charged once again with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and other charges.

He was transported and lodged at an out of county detention center.  Mayfield Police assisted in the investigaton.
