Mayfield woman charged with trafficking methamphetamine

Information about methamphetamine sales in the Mayfield area led to the arrest of a Mayfield woman Tuesday night.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office reports an undercover drug investigation led to authorities purchasing crystal methamphetamine from 30-year-old Nycole D. Fox around 7:30 pm in the area of Maple Avenue and North 13th Street.

Sheriff's detectives arrested Fox shortly after the purchase.

At the time of her arrest, she was out on bond from a previous arrest for possessing methamphetamine, and has previous convictions for both possessing methamphetamine and trafficking in marijuana.

Fox was taken to an out of county detention center.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted with the investigation.
