Mayfield women charged with trafficking in meth

Reports of suspected methamphetamine trafficking resulted in a search and the arrest of two Mayfield women on Friday.

Graves County detectives searched a residence and vehicle on Treeland Drive, where they found almost 20 grams of crystal meth, electronic scales and cash that was traced to back to being currency used to purchase illegal drugs from the suspects.

Detectives arrested 47-year-old Christy M. Sullivan and 48-year-old Chasity D. Ferguson. They were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
