A McCracken County man is facing ultiple drug and firearm-related charges following the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon.
As part of an ongoing drug investigation the McCracken County Sheriff's Office said detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Old Mayfield Road just before noon.
Authorities said 53-year-old David Perdue, 53 was present during the search in which detectives said they recovered quantities of marijuana, cocaine, various items of drug paraphernalia, and three firearms found near the narcotics.
Detectives said they found a large garage on the property that was set up as a synthetic drug laboratory, where synthetic marijuana was being manufactured. Detectives said they seized several pounds of synthetic drugs from the location.
Perdue was charged with firearm-enhanced trafficking in a synthetic drug, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
