The Disaster Recovery Center in McCracken County is scheduled to close permanently after today, but residents who experienced loss as the result of the April severe storms can still apply for FEMA assistance. 

The center located at the McCracken Emergency Management complex on Coleman Road will close at 7 p.m. today.

Although the McCracken County center is closing, you can visit any Disaster Recovery Center in Kentucky to get in-person assistance. No appointment is needed. To find all other center locations, including those in other states, go to fema.gov/drc . 

You can also apply online at at DisasterAssistance.gov , or use the FEMA app.
