McCracken County Sheriff’s detectives seized a large amount of synthetic marijuana on Friday and arrested a Paducah man on trafficking charges.

Sheriff’s detectives, along with officers from the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole, served a search warrant on Friday morning at a home on Center Street in Paducah. The residence belonged to 48-year-old Tony M. Jones, who reportedly has a lengthy criminal history. Inside Jones’ home, detectives found about 20 pounds of synthetic marijuana. Jones was on probation from one trafficking conviction and is said to have three other convictions for trafficking in synthetic drugs.

Jones was arrested and charged with trafficking in synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
