McCracken juveniles face charges after allegedly breaking into vehicles

Two juveniles face charges in McCracken County after several reports of missing valuables from vehicles.

On Sunday, the McCracken County Sheriff’s department received several reports of vehicles around Crestview Drive and Grubbs Lane being entered. One victim said her car window had been broken, and the door lock tampered with.

Neighbors told deputies about two juveniles who allegedly had been running through the area during the night.

Officials obtained surveillance footage from the residence, and several witnesses identified the suspects.

Deputies located, interviewed and charged the juveniles. They also recovered many stolen items and returned them to their owners.
