Multiple injuries in serious crash in Livingston County

Multiple injuries were suffered in a serious crash along US 60 in Livingston County.

The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m., just east of Ledbetter on Calendar Flats. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office said that there were two vehicles involved in the crash. Photos posted by witnesses indicated that at least one of the vehicles caught fire. Sources indicated that multiple AirEvac helicopters flew victims from the scene.

There has been no word on the condition of those involved or what may have caused the crash. That is still under investigation.

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Ledbetter hosted a prayer meeting Tuesday night to lift up those injured and their families.
