Murray man charged in child abuse case

A Murray man has been charged in a child abuse case.

Murray Police arrested 19-year-old Jamison Fitzgerald following an investigation into possible abuse. Officers were called to Murray Calloway County Hospital on Friday after a child was brought in with what were described as severe injuries. An investigation was opened, and information gained resulted in the arrest.

Fitzgerald was arrested and charged with criminal abuse.
