Murray woman, Florida man arrested in juvenile sexual assault investigation

A three-month investigation into a juvenile sexual assault has resulted in the arrest of a Murray woman and a Florida man.

In January 2026, the Murray Police Department began an investigation into a juvenile sexual assault. As a result, 34-year-old Shane White of Pensacola was arrested on a charge of first-degree rape. Police also arrested 35-year-old Samantha White on charges of perjury and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The Murray Police were assisted by the Bay County Sheriff’s office and Escambia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida to locate and apprehend White, who is now awaiting extradition back to Murray.
