Temperatures will largely remain 10 to 15 degrees above normal through the next week with highs ranging from the upper 70s to mid 80s. A few record highs are possible, particularly Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Monday (4/13) is the first day that Paducah's historical average high temperature reaches 70 degrees. (Our 80-degree average days will start on May 22, and 90-degree average days begin July 2.)
Chances for showers and storms return Friday afternoon and evening, mainly for areas north and west of the Ohio River.
