KY 121 bridge replacement at New Concord starts Monday

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has posted that a year-long lane restriction is scheduled to start Monday on KY 121 at New Concord in Calloway County, half a mile west of Dunbar Road.

This is for a bridge replacement project over Blood River.

Next week, crews will crews will install temporary railing and a barrier wall, along with a temporary signal to control alternating one-lane traffic. The driving lane will be restricted to 11 feet wide.

Demolition and construction will follow. The bridge project is estimated to be completed in the summer of 2027.
