Murray woman wounded in August shooting has died

A Murraay woman wounded in an August 17th shooting at a Sunset Drive residence has died of her wounds.

The Murray Sentinel, citing a social media post from the victim's daugther, reported Friday night Brittany Cleaver died after being shot by her estranged husband, 45-year-old Russell Cleaver.

The case was sent to a Calloway County grand jury August 26th after he waived his preliminary hearing.
He was arrested the night of the shooting and charged with attempted murder.
