New Christian County High School opens doors Wednesday

It took several years of planning and construction, but the new Christian County High School opened its doors Wednesday.

The school consolidated Christian County and Hopkinsville High Schools and the Gateway Academy programs under one roof. 

The school name blended high schools names and the athletic and academic teams will be known as the Christian County Tigers.

Now that the school is offically open, the work begins to blend the consolidation academically, athletically, socially and culturally for the students of the future.
