Today's near-record warm temperatures will give way to a cooler, wet week ahead.

Gusty southwest winds today will include a high around 76, but a cold front passage tonight will turn into north winds and a high Sunday of 64 and a low Monday morning at 36.

Paducah's historical average high temperature for mid-November is 58 degrees.

Monday is sunny and 62 until a chance for showers begins in the afternoon. Rain and some thunderstorms arrive Monday into Tuesday morning, then numerous showers and isolated thunderstorms will return for the second half of the work week

Total rainfall amounts of 2 inches will be common, and more than 3 inches possible in some areas.
