Paducah bicyclist injured in collision on Bridge Street

One man was injured when a collision occurred between his bicycle and a vehicle in Paducah on Tuesday.

Paducah Police responded to the 2700 block of Bridge Street where they learned that 31-year-old Emmet Tetreault was turning onto Clarks Ferry Road when he collided with a bicycle operated by 49-year-old Mitchell McClain.

McClain was taken to an out-of-state hospital for treatment of his injuries. 

The collision remains under investigation by the city's collision reconstruction team and detectives. The roadway was closed for approximately two hours.
