Paducah's high of 72 was just shy of the record

High temperatures reached the upper 60s to lower 70s today, even including some mid 70s in the Kentucky Pennyrile region.

Cape Girardeau tied their record high for the date of 68 degrees, while Paducah's 72 and Evansville's 69 both fell one degree shy of their record highs for today. 

North winds on Wednesday will keep temperatures in the 50s, still above a bit above normal for this time of year. We could revisit the 60s again by Monday.
