Paducah man arrested on rape charge

A Paducah man was arrested Friday on rape charges involving a minor under 12.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 71-year-old Dennis Hines was arrested after an investigation began last week into allegations that a juvenile female had been sexually assaulted by an adult she was left in care of.

Hines is in the McCracken County Regional Jail.  He has two prior convictions for sexual assult of minors under 12 and is currently on probation for the second conviction.
