A Paducah teen was arrested Friday after allegedly making threats on social media.

Police said they were notified Friday afternoon about threatening statements concerning that night's upcoming Paducah Tilghman high school football game.

Detectives discovered that 18-year-old Shaundell Q. White made threats on social media threatening violence at the game. White was located and arrested.

He was charged with terroristic threatening and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Chief Brian Laird said police provided an increased presence at the Tilghman game.
