A Princeton man was arrested after fleeing from police when they tried to serve a warrant.

Caldwell County deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant on 46-year-old Jonathan Hubbard of Princeton on Saturday. When they got to a home on Briarfield Road, a man came to the door and told them Hubbard was not there. They went to the door a second time, and that’s when Hubbard reportedly ran out the back door. Deputies pursued Hubbard and eventually arrested him. In addition to the warrant, Hubbard was also charged with fleeing or evading police.

Hubbard was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
