Princeton man charged with murder of Trigg County infant

A Princeton man has been charged with murder in the death of a Trigg County infant.

According to Kentucky State Police, a one-month-old infant was found unresponsive Saturday morning and was flown to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville for treatment. Police say the child died later that day.

An autopsy and extensive investigation resulted in the arrest of the infant's father, 22-year-old Givonte T. Riley on a charge of murder.

Riley was taken to the Christian County Jail.

KSP says the investigation is ongoing.
