Princeton woman arrested in Monday traffic stop

A Princeton woman was taken into custody following a traffic stop Monday.

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was on patrol on US 62 West when he noticed a vehicle pull on to US 62 West at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle eventually stopped near Varmintrace and Maple Street.

The driver, 26-year-old Emma Young of Princeton, was charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana. Young was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
