A call about a reckless driver on Saturday led to a Metropolis man's arrest.

Metropolis police responded to the area of Old Marion Road, where they found a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway. The driver, 37-year-old David Littlemeyer, was reportedly found passed out behind the wheel.

Officers said they were not able to wake up Littlemeyer, so an ambulance was called. Once in the ambulance, he allegedly became uncooperative.

Littlemeyer was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license.

He was taken to the Massac County jail.
