Missing Carlisle County teen found safe

UPDATE:  The Missing Carlisle County teen has been found safe according to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office.

The search for a missing Carlisle County teenager is currently underway.

The Carlisle County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched to County Road 1016 in Cunningham after it was reported that 14-year-old Edy Bruer had been reported missing. Home security cameras show Edy wearing a red sweat shirt walking away from the home around 915pm. 

Numerous family and friends have gathered and are assisting in efforts to locate Edy.  She is 5'9 with red hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt. 

Anyone who sees Edy or know of her whereabouts are asked to call 911.
