Sedalia man arrested after alleged hit and run in Mayfield

A Sedalia man was arrested after an alleged hit-and-run crash on Saturday in Mayfield.

The crash reportedly happened at about 8 p.m. Saturday near KY 80 and Cuba Road. After police obtained a description of the vehicle that was said to have fled, it was spotted and stopped near Cuba Road and West Tucker. The driver of that vehicle, 52-year-old Hector Garcia of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Garcia was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and not having a license. The investigation is continuing, and there could be more charges.
