A Sedalia man was arrested Thursday after being stopped in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
Sheriff’s deputies got a call from Kentucky State Police at about 10 a.m. reporting a stolen vehicle from Graves County headed toward Calloway County. Calloway deputies spotted that vehicle on Cherokee Trail in Murray.
When they got it stopped, the driver, 34-year-old Andrew P. Connell of Sedalia, was said to have been showing signs he was impaired. He also reportedly threatened the deputies.
Connell was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000, terroristic threatening, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substances, and not having an operator’s license.
